"VISION ON" GUESTBOOK

The Prof is having a quiet snooze right now after chasing a wardrobe around a field. You could try tapping on your monitor to try and wake him up. Alternatively, if you feel suitably touched by nostalgia (or you're just plain touched like the rest of us) and would like to say hello to The Prof or any of the original 'Vision On' team - heres your chance! I did use a clockwork Bolex. I believe it was David's at the time, though they used David Wyatt's camera for the shooting. I'll have to find a copy, digitise it and throw it up on the web for all to see -its actually not that bad! Pete

Hi Pete, Sounds like the Prof has picked up bad habits from the Beeb, only letting you have Glorious Monochrome film stock !! The film must have been bril for it to have been mislaid,"Nicked" or stored in the "Washing Up Bowl" Did you use a clockwork Bolex cine camera ? Please note Bolex is pronounced "Bowlex" for our readers of a delicate nature.

Sorry for not using Eastman Colour. David bought the film so I could play with his camera. hehe! Someone mentioned 'in typical prof style too -things going missing'. Well, it turns out that either him or me has lost my film. tsk. I left it laying on his desk, and he goes and loses it. Now there's a surprise ;-) Pete

I always knew it was him!!, and your site confirms it. I've spent twenty+ years travelling on the same train as David, and as I was an ardent child fan of the show, it's a great honour. Wonderful memories, brought alive on a wonderful site. Congratulations.

Jim asked about the theme tune for Vision On. It's called, "The Chase," and I have it on a Cult Fiction compilation CD. I think it's still available, so check out some of the on-line sites. Don't get confused with The Gallery music, which was called, "Leftbank."
