"VISION ON" GUESTBOOK

The Prof is having a quiet snooze right now after chasing a wardrobe around a field. You could try tapping on your monitor to try and wake him up. Alternatively, if you feel suitably touched by nostalgia (or you're just plain touched like the rest of us) and would like to say hello to The Prof or any of the original 'Vision On' team - heres your chance! Re Prof Video: My 9 year old boy's best bit is The Prof blowing up the piano. Laurie

Who was the narrator on the video? Depends which bits you mean. Vast majority was narrated by the Prof himself - aka David Cleveland. The sequence showing how they were made was narrated by cameraman Tony Amies, who also went on to work with Terry Gilliam at one point.

I apologise for the length of my laughter. I should have breathed in between convulsions. (Some may argue not.) Still laughing, though!

Viewed the new video last night, whilst wearing my Prof t-shirt, drinking Earl Grey out of my Prof mug, and writing Prof postcards to those who might need them. My verdict? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha....ahhh..oh...haha...oh dear me.... My two children loved it all, especially the bit where Prof knocks a huge nail into the field with a gigantic hammer, and the field tilts...that got replayed again and again! The pianist was new to me, but brilliant stuff. THANKS for this treat. I urge everybody viewing this to buy it!

Video is fantastic, I'd forgotton how good the "Prof" bits were. Good to see technical details given, who is the commentator ? Also good to see one clip where the cameraman had problems with Eastman color 7247,(you didn't load it in the camera under the right conditions did you you naughty boy !) it was this film stock wasn't it ? Well done when is "Prof Two (The Revenge)" video going to be released. Thank's Laurie Booth

What a great find! So pleased to find your site , it brings such great childhood memories. I honestly think that Vision On contributed to my desire to become an artist and I am sure that the show has touched many a creative soul. I watched Vision On from beginning to end. I preferred it to Sesame Street actually, Vision On was a far more cerebral program! A Vision on fan forever!!
